Windows Live Planet是微软新上线的一个社交网站，和其它社交网站相似用户可以通过Windows Live Planet查找好友并进行在线聊天，和普通社交网站简洁的界面不同，Windows Live Planet的用户界面十分花哨。

        虽然目前微软没有发表关于该网站的官方声明，但是微软已经确认此网站确实属于公司旗下。使用Windows Live ID或Hotmail帐户即可登录Windows Live Planet并创建自己的主页，命名自己的星球并对其进行建设，你还可以从其他社交网站上邀请好友参与。

        Windows Live Planet同时也整合了Windows Live Messenger服务，你可以在页面左下方看到自己的MSN在线好友，并和他们进行聊天。

        其启用的域名为WLPlanet.com和WindowsLivePlanet.com，一米友第一时间将WindowsLivePlanet.cn，WindowsLivePlanet.com.cn，WLPlanet.cn，WLPlanet.com.cn。
